MTC is Medium Chain Triglycerides, which is naturally found in Palm Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil and other food, and is one of the important sources of dietary fat. Typical MCTS refer to saturated Caprylic triglycerides or saturated Capric triglycerides or saturated Mixture.

MCT is particularly stable at high and low temperatures. MCT consist only of saturated fatty acids, have low freezing point, is liquid at room temperature, low viscosity, odorless and colorless. Compared with ordinary fats and hydrogenated fats, the content of unsaturated fatty acids of MCT is extremely low, and its oxidation stability is perfect.
